Hi Bill,
Unfortunately, this sounds a bit jaunty for the mood of the guy playing it, who is angry at his father, who composed the music. Perhaps it could go more minor in feeling and still be pounded out? Not sure how to express this, but it's almost like he's playing it in revenge.
